ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jamie Metzl is One of the world’s leading technology futurists. He is a Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Council, a Commissioner of The Lancet Commission on Precision Health, and the author of seven books, including the international bestsellers Superconvergenceand Hacking Darwin and the science fiction novels Eternal Sonata and Genesis code Jamie previously served in the U.S. National Security Council and State Department, with the United Nations in Cambodia, and on the World Health Organization Expert Advisory Committee on Human Genome Editing. He has also been called “the original COVID-19 whistleblower“ for his pioneer erring work exploring the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jamie’s ideas have reached hundreds of millions worldwide through his books, podcasts, media appearances, and speaking. He holds degrees from Brown, Harvard Law School, and Oxford and is an avid Ironman triathlete and ultramarathon runner.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Jacob Weisberg is the co-founder of Pushkin Industries. He was previously CEO of the Slate Group, co-founder of Panoply, and editor-in-chief of Slate Magazine. He has written for publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Financial Times. He is the author of several books and a lecturer at Yale University. Jacob is vice chair of the Committee to Protect Journalists and a member of the PEN Board, reflecting his long-standing involvement with issues of global press freedom and independent journalism.
