JAMIE LOFTUS is an Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comic and animator who is currently a Co-Producer for the Paramount+ adult animated series, STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS. Jamie has worked on animated shows such as ROBOT CHICKEN, HUMAN KIND OF, TEENAGE EUTHANASIA and MAGICAL GIRL FRIENDSHIP SQUAD. Jamie is also a regular contributor to publications such as , , , and .
Jamie’s work in podcasting continues to be praised by the , , , and more. You can listen to Jamie as the co-creator and co-host of the feminist movie podcast with Caitlin Durante, and which is a retrospective of the legacy of the Aack! Cathy comics. Through her multi-year deal with I Heart Radio, she previously released , a year-long account of her testing into the high-IQ Mensa society for a clickbait piece and being drawn into a deeply bigoted, Mensa-sanctioned group and , an eleven-part look at the cultural legacy of Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita (Webby Award 2022 winner for best limited series). EGG PARTY is a comedy group based in Austin, TX. They're a team of writers, actors, filmmakers, producers, and musicians, but the one thing that sets them apart from other comedy groups is that they're also… roommates.
They’ve been improvising and creating content together for over 8 years, and they realized that life is too short not to try to start a comedy group with your friends at least once. So, they decided to move in together and give it a name.
Over the last year, they've specialized in vertical video content and growing an audience of over 150K+ TikTok followers. During that time, they’ve also traveled far and wide (so far just to Waco, TX and various spots around Austin, but traffic does make for a pretty lengthy commute) performing live improv and sketch comedy shows. Previous festivals have featured Tim Robinson, Amber Ruffin, Ego Nwodim, Maggie Maye, James Adomian, Superego, Paul F. Tompkins, Latino Comedy Project, Joe Wengert, Brent Weinbach, Master Pancake Theater, Vanessa Gonzalez, Mary Jo Pehl, and many more groups from NYC, Chicago, LA, Seattle, Portland, Dallas and Austin (of course).
BADGE HOLDERS: Austin Sketch Fest badge holders will receive codes to reserve tickets for each show at Austin Sketch Fest, including the headliner. Badge holders must use their code in order to guarantee their reserved seat at any given show.
TICKET POLICY: Tickets for SOLD OUT SHOWS are released at showtime to waiting patrons. This includes tickets reserved by Austin Sketch Fest badge holders. Late arrivals will NOT be seated at a sold out show, rather offered a refund or voucher for a different showtime.
REFUND POLICY: To cancel your reservation and issue a refund, open the confirmation email and follow prompts to issue a refund through the Eventbrite Portal.
