25 year veteran of the blues in Austin, San Francisco & Denver's own soulful slide guitar, gritty vocalist and old school blues & soul lover James Speiser throws down his special gumbo of sounds...it always hits you where it counts.
With his band, Roots & Rhythm he has opened for 4-time Grammy winning singer Dianne Reeves, played the official after party of the prestigious Blues from the Top Festival, official after party of the Grammy winning Rebirth Brass Band and Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
Roots & Rhythm was featured in the Blue Roots Denver a film series produced for The 5 POINTS Jazz Fest, Jazz on Film Fest for Denver Arts & Venues, on KWGN 2, FOX 31 and Colorado Music Buzz Magazine.
