Ballymun Library will host a public lecture by Dr. James Curry (DCC Historian in Residence) on the remarkable sporting life of Patrick O'Connell. Born and raised in Drumcondra he went on to play professional football in England for Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City and Manchester United. He also managed FC Barcelona and Real Betis FC.
