Our petition now has almost 19,000 signatures of residents from Orange & beyond who do NOT want to lose the hills outside Irvine Regional Park to the 1,180 single-family homes of The Irvine Company.
No Orange Heights (NOH) opposes the development of the 400-acre wildlife corridor between Irvine Regional Park and Peters Canyon, which supports mountain lion, least Bell's vireo, Crotch’s bumble bee, white-tailed kite and other special status species. It is considered a culturally sensitive area by the local Native American tribes and is located in a Very High Fire Severity Zone where traffic congestion is at its worst.
