Jam With Martin Philadelphy & Aki Streeter

Martin Philadelphy und Aki Streeter laden zu einer Jam Session ein. Alle sind eingeladen, selbst Instrumente mitzubringen. Ein Schlagzeug wird vorhanden sein, sowie ein Synthesizer, ein E-Bass, eine E-Gitarre und Mikrofone. Ab 20 Uhr kann man gemeinsam mit zwei Veteranen des "Freakdaseins" Lärm machen.

Martin Philadelphy (geboren 1971 in Innsbruck) ist ein in Wien lebender österreichischer Gitarrist, Komponist und Improvisationsmusiker, der sich nach einem autodidaktischen Einstieg im Alter von 21 Jahren als wandlungsfähiger Akteur in der Crossover- und Avantgarde-Szene etabliert hat. Sein musikalisches Schaffen bewegt sich stilunabhängig zwischen Jazz-Rock, Fusion, Punk und freier Improvisation, was sich in einer Diskografie von über 30 Alben als Solokünstler sowie in wechselnden Formationen widerspiegelt. Neben seiner eigenen Arbeit ist er für regelmäßige Kollaborationen mit internationalen Größen der experimentellen Musikszene wie unter anderem Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Lounge Lizards, ...), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, Fantômas, ...) oder Victor Jones (Mingus Big Band, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, ...) bekannt.

Aki Streeter (geboren 2007 in Klagenfurt) ist der schlechteste Musiker des Universums und spielt unter anderem in den Bands Heimwerker, Misanthropic Planet und Klismaphilia. Aki kollaborierte 2026 zuletzt mit Peter Weatherall aus Neuseeland, gemeinsam schufen sie ein Educational-Metal-Album über die Metalle im Periodensystem. Weiters ist Aki Gründungsmitglied des Unterlabels und organisiert Konzertreihen mit verschiedenen Musikern. Aki ist bekannt für die Zusammenarbeit mit Lojz Rieder und Alexej Kakanovich. Die Arbeit von Streeter handelt meist von der Gosologie. Laut diesem Weltbild schuf ein Nerd namens Dave das Universum und am Mars leben gottesähnliche Tiere, welche verschiedene Gefahren für unser Sonnensystem darstellen. Und, vorallem, außerdem, ... hasst Aki sich.

Der Jam findet im Jugendstiltheater Klagenfurt, Goethepark 2, am 3.7.2026 um 20 Uhr statt.

Martin Philadelphy and Aki Streeter invite you to a jam session. Everyone is welcome, and you are encouraged to bring your own instruments. A drum kit will be provided, as well as a synthesizer, an electric bass, an electric guitar, and microphones. From 8:00 PM, you can make noise together with two veterans of "freakdom."

Martin Philadelphy (born 1971 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian guitarist, composer, and improvisational musician living in Vienna. After a self-taught start at the age of 21, he established himself as a versatile player in the crossover and avant-garde scene. His musical work moves style-independently between jazz-rock, fusion, punk, and free improvisation, which is reflected in a discography of over 30 albums as a solo artist and in changing formations. In addition to his own work, he is known for regular collaborations with international greats of the experimental music scene, including Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Lounge Lizards, ...), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, Fantômas, ...), or Victor Jones (Mingus Big Band, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, ...).

Aki Streeter (born 2007 in Klagenfurt) is the worst musician in the universe and plays in bands such as Heimwerker, Misanthropic Planet, and Klismaphilia. Most recently, in 2026, Aki collaborated with Peter Weatherall from New Zealand; together they created an educational metal album about the metals in the periodic table. Furthermore, Aki is a founding member of a sub-label and organizes concert series with various musicians. Aki is known for working with Lojz Rieder and Alexej Kakanovich. Streeter's work usually deals with "Gosology." According to this worldview, a nerd named Dave created the universe, and god-like animals live on Mars, which pose various threats to our solar system. And, above all, furthermore, ... Aki hates himself.
