Raised in the swamps of New Jersey, Eric Schaffer grew up listening to the iconic folk-rock singer songwriters of the 1960's and 70's. Those musical sensibilities are woven throughout his songs. His lyrics can be melancholy, witty or introspective, but they are always intelligent and articulate.Loren Dircks is a Country Metal Singer, Songwriter and Tele-slinger from Tucson, Arizona. Best known as the frontman for Tucson’s Gila Bend and also an occasional member of Al Perry’s band. Killing the Magic takes the Country Metal sound into a more musical territory.
