Jaime Drake and Matt Hopper Live at Nonna's Osteria

Nonna's Osteria is a treasure in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley, beloved for handmade pasta and a menu inspired by regional Italian traditions. This intimate concert experience is presented by WellRounded Arts, the organizers of Parlor in the Round. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served and FAMILY STYLE. Nonna's will serve food and drinks throughout the show. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the music begins at 7 PM!

Parlor in the Round brings two remarkable songwriters together for an intimate evening at Nonna’s Osteria: Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jamie Drake and Alaska’s own Matt Hopper.

This special split-bill show puts the focus squarely on the songs. Drake and Hopper will each share a set in the close, listening-room atmosphere of Nonna’s—a chance to hear the music and stories behind the songs before they join Parlor in the Round’s October season-opening show at the Beartooth.

Jamie Drake is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter whose music pairs sophisticated songwriting with an unmistakable voice and a lush, deeply personal approach to folk-pop. A longtime songwriter and performer, Drake has built a body of work that moves easily between intimate acoustic storytelling and richly arranged recordings.

Matt Hopper is an Alaska-born songwriter, guitarist, and bandleader whose music draws from rock & roll, Americana, folk, and the wide-open spaces of his home state. Over a career spanning Alaska and the Lower 48, Hopper has developed a reputation for sharp songwriting, compelling live performances, and songs that travel well beyond Alaska—including a song recorded and released by The Head and the Heart.
