Milwaukee Reads and Boswell Book Company present a ticketed evening with Jacqueline Friedland, author of bestselling historical and contemporary women's fiction, who appears with Breathing Under Water, a deeply moving exploration of motherhood, sacrifice, and the extraordinary connections that emerge when we're brave enough to let others see our struggles.
Tickets for this event cost $40 plus tax and fees, and each includes admission for one, a paperback copy of Breathing Under Water, a glass of wine, and light snacks. Reception begins at 7 pm, author talk begins at 7:30 pm.

Jacqueline Friedland is a USA Today bestselling author of historical and contemporary women's fiction. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she earned a law degree from NYU and a Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Jackie regularly reviews fiction for trade publications and appears at schools and other locations as a guest lecturer.
