Jacob Slade is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Milwaukee, WI. His new album Momentary Traces is described by Breaking and Entering as "gentle, sincere, and imaginative" and works to combine elements of folk, pop, and rock to create a dynamic and meaningful listening experience. Drawing on influences such as Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, Beck, and many others Jacob hopes to create a sound that is both nostalgic and unique. � You can also find him playing guitar in the Milwaukee-based band Social Cig.LoBi has been releasing music frequently in both 2021 and 2022. Over a triumphant guitar riff, LoBi sings about making the most out of his life in spite of not having much. LoBi's psychedelic indie music includes lyrics about a prosperous mindset, gradually swelling into a grand presentation laden with violin and synths and a soaring guitar solo.
Simplified Characters is an indie rock duo comprised of Justin Heitman and Brittany Kutka. With a jangly guitar and a progressively increasing rumbling drum tracks, their music is simultaneously heavy and melancholy.
