#1 - DAX and Calculations in Power BI from Rookie to Rock Star - Reza Rad
Session Details:
In your journey to learning Power BI, DAX and calculations are must-learn techniques. However, understanding DAX can be complicated as it uses concepts that can be hard to absorb.
If you want to perform a year-over-year calculation, a month-to-date, or percentage of the total, dynamic row-level security patterns, or even conditional formatting, DAX is the answer to them all. You can write formulas and expressions in DAX which answers all of those queries.
Reza Rad is the best-selling author of the Power BI DAX Simplified book and dozens of other Power BI books. In this one-day workshop, he gets you from the very beginner level of learning DAX into advanced techniques and examples. At the end of this training, you will be able to write DAX calculations for your own models and understand how the calculation and formula language works.
You don't need any prerequisites for this workshop. This workshop is designed for beginner and experienced users of Power BI.
The day includes modules below:
-Fundamentals
-Aggregation and Iterators
-Filter
-Relationship functions
-Logical functions
