About this Event
NOTE: This is a live in-person class. You must register prior to class to participate.
This 1- and 1/2-day training covers both Tier I and Tier II requirements and will provide private and public employees with the required qualification to conduct inspections of erosion and sedimentation controls for construction sites throughout Florida. This is a very detailed course which demonstrates visual BMPs, and chemical treatment used during actual construction projects. This course covers all MS4 requirements.
**CLASS begins at 8:00 AM (EST) on Days 1 and 2; Day 2 ends approximately 2:00 P.M.
A closed book examination will be given at the end of class on Day 2 and requires a score of 70 or greater to become an inspector. You will earn CEUs/CECs/ and PDH for this class.
NOTE: There are a only a few copies remaining of the printed/spiral bound FDEP Official Manual (Tier I and Tier II) remaining. The manuals are on sale for $25 and is an optional purchase and is not required for class. The books will be delivered on the first day of class.
