✨Join the Jackson's Bourbon Trail as we take you to "Amarillo by Morning" in our beautiful Waterfront Room overlooking the Bay. Join Charlie Garrison as we take you on a Texas Hill Country Experience with Award Winning Bourbon paired with dishes inspired by the pioneers of Texas Cuisine & BBQ. We kick off the night at 7:00 with "The Hill Country Donkey" where a Texas takes over Moscow with a much better version of the Mule. This will be amazing with Kreuz Cotija Stuffed Brisket Meatballs. Kreuz Meat Market located in the BBQ Capital of Texas named Lockhart, first opened its doors in 1875.
1st Course - Jackson's Single Barrel. Handpicked by the Ownership Group & General Manager at the Garrison Brothers Distillery with Dan Garrison and Master Distiller Donnis. We will take you back to Lockhart, Texas where Smitty Schmidt, who first worked for the Kreuz Family, opened Smitty's Market. Using Smitty's Seasoning we will prepare a Slow Smoked Dry Rub Quail with a Smitty's BBQ Drizzle.
2nd Course - Garrison Brothers Guadalupe. This bourbon is finished in a Port Cask and will pair beautifully with our Fredericksburg Drunken Peach Salad. Fredericksburg know for the Peach Groves is just down the road from the Distillery. Small Batch Peaches, Texas Pecans, and Garrison Brother's Honeydew Vinaigrette will blow you away.
3rd Course - Garrison Brother's Balmorhea with Black's Beef Rib! Back to Lockhart! Black's is one the best-known family's that rounds up the 3 founding families of Texas BBQ. Using Black's Rub the huge Beef Ribs will change everything you thought you knew about BBQ.
4th Course - Jackson's Uncut. From the barrel to the bottle. This Bourbon was done similarly to our Single Barrel in the selecting phase. After drilling into the barrel and taking a sip, we were done! It was so good we bought two barrels when we only needed one! Paired with the Hye Cobbler with Blue Bell Ice Cream. It's Officially Nap Time!
All guests will have the opportunity purchase bottles signed by Charlie Garrison with some of the "Impossible to Find" bottles we put away just for you!
