Jackson Hogg Tech Meetup

We are very excited to be organising the first in our series of free to attend Tech Meet-ups. This series has been created to help solve specific problems that are unique to tech start-ups, and will welcome start-up companies in every stage of their journey. Local suppliers and agencies will provide support at every session in the form of talks, networking opportunities, and advice to help us all share and grow together. We will also be inviting a charity partner along every month to introduce us to their cause and speak about the challenges it poses.

This month we will be joined by Co-Founder of Aircards, Gordon Dodds, and CEO of charity, CoCo, Lucy Phillips.

As Head of Strategy at Aircards, Gordon oversees strategic direction alongside growth and expansion into new marketplaces and identifying mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships. Gordon spent the early part of his career working in the Petrochemical industry. Working throughout Europe Gordon began with R&D for ICI, before delivering technical services at BASF. Gordon then moved across to executive commercial roles within Petrofina before becoming a European Marketing Manager with Total.

Gordon is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and prior to becoming a co-founder at Aircards, Gordon ran a successful management consultancy for 15 years creating client success through innovative and challenging business coupled with strategic analysis centred upon culture, alignment, and engagement. Gordon holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics & Physics from the University of St. Andrews.
