Jackie Shane's Fabulous Photo Booth

For this year's Nashville Pride Festival, the Nashville Queer History booth presents: Jackie Shane's Fabulous Photo Booth! Stop by our booth on June 22 or June 23 to learn about Nashville's own legendary transgender soul singer Jackie Shane and snap a photo to capture your pride.

**Photos will be taken with your smartphone...UNLESS you reserve your spot now with one of our three hired photographers. Here are their bios and photo session times:

Lani Parrilla, June 22 from 12-2PM
Lani Parrilla is a New York based photographer and Art Director. Parrilla's work springs from real life, yet feels like it was made in a memory. From music venue green rooms to bedrooms, they welcome their subjects to be fully themselves and, in response, they radiate a powerful sense of self.

Amiee Sadler, June 22 from 3-5PM
Amiee has been an avid photographer for almost two decades (crazy considering she’s only 25, lol). She loves helping people find their joy and seeing themselves in new and exciting ways! Her style ranges from professional headshots to capturing intimate family moments. You name it, Amiee loves to shoot it (on film and digital). Bring your joy and your PRIDE for a fun mini shoot!

Quintin Watkins, June 23 from 1-3PM
My name is Quintin. I’m the creative behind Pen and Tale, where I talk, create art, and design and play video games. Sometimes I put the controller down to capture beautiful and whimsical moments with my camera! Sometimes in games too. I love to see highly animated faces and poignant poses that best express yourself!
