Have you ever wanted to craft your own mythical creature? Join us for a Jackalope Taxidermy Class led by Gotham Taxidermy, where you'll bring this legendary hybrid to life through the art of taxidermy!
This immersive, hands-on class will guide you through the entire process—from preparation and form-building to sewing, mounting, and creative posing. You'll learn expert techniques while crafting your very own one-of-a-kind Jackalope to take home.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class offers a fascinating look into the world of taxidermy. Your ticket comes with general admission to the museum! Spots are limited—reserve yours today!
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, the adult must get an observer ticket. No refunds - if you are unable to attend we are happy to exchange the tickets for a different workshop by request, please let us know if advance.

About the Artist
Divya Anantharaman blends science and art to preserve animals with honor and compassion. An award-winning professional, she works with museums, designers, collectors, and gallerists, specializing in birds, small mammals, and anatomical anomalies. Her work combines the scientific precision of taxidermy with the symbolic depth of art, engaging diverse audiences in conservation and the wonder of nature.
Leaving the corporate fashion industry, Divya pursued her passion for natural history as the resident taxidermist at the Morbid Anatomy Museum. She has since built a dedicated following, creating taxidermy, skeletal displays, jewelry, and wearable art. A board member of multiple taxidermy associations, she has won top awards at national and world taxidermy championships. Her work has been featured in the documentary Rearranging Skin, and she co-authored Stuffed Animals: A Modern Guide to Taxidermy. Passionate about education and conservation, she collaborates with organizations like the Audubon Society and teaches workshops in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
