Who is Jack Taylor, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Owner?
Jack Crawford Taylor was among the many men who made up the “Greatest Generation.” Taylor joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and become a decorated Hellcat pilot in the South Pacific. After the war, Taylor returned home and utilized the lessons he learned to help establish one of America’s most successful post-war companies, Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The company was named after the aircraft carrier that Taylor served on, the most decorated American ship in WWII.
What started as a car leasing company in 1957, developed into multi-billion-dollar enterprise. Values of integrity, hard work, team spirit and simply doing the right thing, has helped shape who Taylor was and he reinforced those values into his successful company.
Join Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum for a screening of Jack Taylor: The Enterprise, and learn more about his life and dedication to this country with a distinguished group of panelists.
