Hailing from the snow-covered high country of northern Victoria, Jack Raymond is truly ‘the voice of the mountain’. His rootsy, relaxed, ‘Aussie-Americana’ style has a deep, laid back groove, for songs with emotional punch.
Jack tells stories of his life travels, with songcraft drawing inspiration from the great wordsmiths and writers who paved the roots music way.
California-born multi-instrumentalist, Jay Bishoff, adds emotive lead guitar, spicy hand percussion, harmonica and soaring vocal harmonies to Jack’s already teeming audio plate.
An avid songwriter in his own right, Jay’s songs reflect his life experience, as a troubadour hitchhiker who just kept going, right ‘round the globe.
This duo ‘sings from the soft bits’ with deep, rootsy groove - an act that impacts.
The Duo are incredibly excited to be bringing their show to Oodies Cafe on April 17th on their “Road to Wintermoon Tour”.
