Jack Rabbit's music sits at the intersection of indie, folk and pop and effortlessly balances soft harmonious melodies with gut-punching lyricism. LA-based with roots that reach back to Texas and Mexico, this duo intertwine their identities to form a new perspective on love, loss, queerness, home and heartbreak. What started out as late night, wine fueled staircase sessions turned into years and cities of collaboration and friendship.Their recent EP release, award-winning music videos and electric live performances have created a growing community of dedicated listeners who have sold-out venues and pushed their music to the next level.In the last year, they've garnered attention from various film festivals (Cannes Shorts, Arrow International, HRIFF, NFFTY) and publications such as NPR. In 2022, they opened on the NPR Tiny Desk Tour's LA stop, and most recently wrote two songs for the indie feature film "Fitting In" that premiered at SXSW 2023.
