We're celebrating our neighborhood's vibrant craft beer scene with an afternoon of beer tasting, music, food, and prizes. Join us!The Jack London Improvement District is proud to present the second annual Jack London Brewing District Block Party!
When: Sunday, August 6th, from 12-5PM (VIP hour only from 12-1PM)
Where: 5th St between Harrison & Alice St
If you're looking for craft beer in Oakland, look no further than the waterfront district of Jack London. Our historical neighborhood is home to several independent craft breweries, all within a stones throw of each other. Join Dokkæbier, Oakland United, Original Pattern, Buck Wild, Hella Coastal, Shapeshifters, & Cellarmaker Brewing in celebrating our craft beer community!

Presale Tickets : Presale tasting tickets are now on sale! Receive a commemorative 5 oz. tasting glass, unlimited tastings of dozens of beers, and a complementary swag bag featuring goodies from each brewery for just $40. Snag yours before prices go up!
VIP Tickets: This year, we are adding a special VIP tasting hour. For $60 you can enjoy first-access to the event before the rush from 12-1PM as well as everything listed above and a free Jack London Brewing District glass growler!
General Tickets: After the presale tickets are gone, general onsale and tickets at the door will be $50 each. Presale and general ticket holder hours are 1-5PM. Only presale and VIP tasting ticket holders will receive JLBD swag bags.

Food: Enjoy delicious local food vendors Vana Maria BBQ, Korner, Tantes Catering and more!
Music: We're working on a special lineup of diverse, local artists! You can expect a live set from "Oakland Stoner Metal" band Blackwülf as well as local DJs from the Sound & Society crew and more TBA.
Craft Vendors: Beer Muse, Hop Bay Area, and Waldear Kegerators will be joining the party!
Oakland Breweries: In addition to the six Jack London based breweries, we'll also have Tenma and Ale Industries and more breweries TBA.
Prizes: All VIP ticket holders and presale ticket holders that receive a complementary tote will be automatically eligible to win a Golden Ticket!

Do I have to purchase a ticket for an underage person or Designated Driver?
No, only adults who will be drinking will need to purchase a Tasting Ticket. Upon arrival, you will need to check in at our ticket booth to receive your wristband. You MUST we wearing a wristband to drink beer at this event.
Where can I park?
If street parking is scarce, we recommend the parking garage located 2 blocks away at 2nd & Harrison St. You can also easily take Amtrak or BART to this event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope! Electronic tickets only.
