The Downsview Players present Jack and the Beanstalk, a hilarious pantomime of dancing cows, golden goose eggs, and giant beanstalks, this November 21st, 22nd and 23rd!Our hero Jack and his family have fallen on hard times. The village of Merrydale is being terrorised by Blunderbore the Giant, along with his nasty henchman Fleshcreep. Even the King and Queen are forced to act as his rent collectors. When Jack’s mother, Dame Trott, finally decides to sell their beloved cow Daisy, Jack is tricked into selling Daisy to Fleshcreep for nothing more than a bag of mouldy old beans - and Fleshcreep even kidnaps Jack’s girlfriend Jill. Can Jack find a way to save Daisy, Jill, and the people of Merrydale from the evil giant before he turns them all into giant snacks?
