🚀 GET READY for the most exciting bootcamp of the year! 🚀
During this weekend you’re going to level up during 3,5 hours of intensive workshops with Sorush & Elise. The bootcamp will focus on Jack & Jill specific topics and will prepare you for J&J competitions all over Europe 🔥
The focus of the bootcamp will be the 3 main judging criterias:
👉 Technique
👉 Musicality
👉 Connection
These specific topics will make you grow the fastest as a dancer! Not only that... But these are also the 3 main topics that are the criteria for most Jack & Jill competitions around Europe! We have seen the trend of competitions growing and we want to encourage more of our students to grow and compete to challenge themself! 💪
🏆 CHALLENGE YOURSELF and take part of the J&J competition after the bootcamp! The competition will be judged by our local artists.
NB! The J&J competition is optional. You can attend the workshops to improve as a social dancer! 🙌

⭐️ JUDGING CRITERIA ⭐️

Competition: Amateur Level (teachers not allowed)
1) TECHNIQUE: in bachata elements, cleanliness, styling
2) MUSICALITY: matching the style of the music (Sensual, Fusion, Dominican). Following the music structure, rhythm and musical elements, e.g. accents, breaks, syncopations, etc.
3) CONNECTION: leading/following skills and quality, the ability between partners to understand each other and have fun
✪ Every dancer will be judged individually either as a Leader or Follower

⭐️ RULES ⭐️

✪ Dance couples will be matched up randomly
✪ You must be prepared to participate 15 minutes before the competition starts
✪ Your number tag should be displayed visibly during the whole competition
✪ Participants will rotate dance partners in every round
✪ Acrobatics over the head or when both feet are off the ground are forbidden
✪ Respect each other by using appropriate language
✪ Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of dancing experience
✪ Teachers are not allowed to compete
✪ Above all, the key rule is to… Enjoy yourself and have fun!

✪ The competition will have 2 sets of Bachata music styles; Sensual & Fusion!
✪ For each set of Bachata music style the organization will pre-select 15 songs, playlist will not be revealed before competition
