Drawing from jazz, funk, electro, and jungle, he helped shape Manchester’s late ’80s sound, before pushing far beyond it. Alongside his work on the seminal Voodoo Ray released in 1988, Gerald was a founding member of 808 State, later pioneering jungle and drum & bass in the ’90s and exploring techno, ambient and experimental music long before they reached the mainstream. Completing the Main Booth squad: the iconic host Jacek Sienkiewicz and Warsaw’s powerhouse Mic Ostap, bringing razor-sharp precision and pure energy to the decks.For the first time ever, ROS addiction in the Salon. 30+ years in the game.
