This is going to be huge. Two key members of the infamous Hard Wax record store are taking over Jasna's DJ booth for the entire night. A true legend, our guest of honor DJ Pete, goes B2B with the brilliant and rising Erik Jabari—both deeply connected to the Tresor label.
Few names in Europe are as deeply tied to Berlin and techno as DJ Pete aka Substance. A Hard Wax veteran and its longest-serving crew member, he’s been shaking dancefloors and pushing sonic boundaries since 1988. With iconic releases on Chain Reaction and remixes for legends like Robert Hood, Juan Atkins, Shed, Regis, and Monolake, his influence runs deep
As a Hard Wax employee, Erik Jabari has spent years refining his sound. His music is techno centered with influences from house, dubstep, UKG and drum n bass. In his productions you can feel his appreciation of the origins of electronic music, which helped him to find his own modern sound.His DJ sets are techno-centered, driving and powerful, but also subtle and elegant.
"We’ve known each other forever—our parents were friends, and as a kid, I used to visit his place with my sister. Pete was the one who introduced me to techno and shaped my taste, especially as a DJ. Our collaboration started during COVID, when we both found ourselves without a set routine. We spent a lot of time hanging out, listening to music, and I kept showing him my tracks. In th Bar room, all night trip with Plastik, one of the most influential diggers of the Free Belarusian scene. Born and raised in Minsk. In 2019, together with a friend, they founded Select Record Store, which they ran until 2021. Well-known for his deep, techy and minimalistic sound.
