What is J-Kai?
J-Kai is JAFA's monthly social event that has been running since 1998. It provides an opportunity for Japanese and Australians with an interest in Japan to meet in a relaxed atmosphere. You don't have to be a JAFA member or speak any Japanese, just come along! Anyone can join and it's free.
J-Kai was originally only a Japanese conversation group, but over the past few years it has evolved into a monthly "event" with additions such as live music, Japanese TV and sumo wrestling videos.
J-Kai is a great opportunity to practice your Japanese, share your Japan stories, or get started with the JAFA community. It's all very informal and casual, so come join us for a fun night.
JAFA members are eligible for the monthly door prize, so bring along your membership card or sign up on the night.
