I’d Like to Try Bitless, But…
I don’t know where to start? I’m not sure which bridle to use or whether I’ll have enough control. How on earth will I stop, my horse is already strong in a bit?
Whether you’ve been thinking about it but never tried, or you’ve started to try it out a little but aren’t feeling very confident about what to do next this interactive workshop is designed to answer all those questions and more, and to give you the knowledge and confidence to start exploring bitless riding with your own horse.
The day will combine discussion, ridden lessons and practical demonstrations, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout. This isn’t a clinic where you simply watch other people being taught — the workshop is primarily for everyone on the ground, and the horses and riders are there to help us explore the questions together.
Places will be strictly limited. This is deliberately a small, interactive workshop so everyone has plenty of opportunity to ask questions, join the discussion and actually get involved.

Workshop places:
£30 early bird — until 19 August
£45 — from 20 August
Tea and coffee will be available. Please bring your own lunch and a chair. All horse work will take place outdoors, so come dressed appropriately for the weather.
There will be just two or three ridden places available. These must be applied for directly rather than booked through Ticket Tailor; please contact Amy for an application form.
Amy will also be available for a limited number of private lessons on Friday 25 September, for anyone wanting individual help getting started with bitless riding or positive reinforcement training. There is also the potential for private lessons on Sunday morning if there is sufficient demand.
