Izzy Vadim is a Montreal-based EDM artist who began his musical journey at an early age, originally performing in a rock band until the age of 18 when he discovered electronic music. His passion for dubstep emerged at 20, leading to the creation of his breakout track "Sleep Paralysis" in 2019, which received support from prominent artists like Excision and Subtronics. This success earned him a feature in Subtronics' popular "Now That's What I Call Riddim" mix series.
In 2022, Izzy started performing in the USA, followed by a Mexico tour in 2023. That year also marked a significant shift in his artistic direction with the track "Let's Get Out of Here." Early in 2023, his single "Pop Lock & Drop It" became a viral hit on SoundCloud and was later released as an official remix on Ultra Records.
Known for his grungy, underground, and bouncy sound, Izzy's music is designed to energize crowds. His motto, "I’m not trying to make you headbang, I’m trying to make you shake your ass," reflects his focus on creating grooves that move the dancefloor.
