Operacija grad vas poziva da nam se 26. i 27.2. pridružite na inicijalnoj izložbi interkulturnog društveno-umjetničkog istraživanja „Jezik i dom“ u prostoru KONTEJNERA | biroa suvremene umjetničke prakse (Odranska 1/1).
Kroz istraživanje zajednički su se propitale uvriježene koncepcije pristupačnosti i uključivosti životnog prostora u Zagrebu, razlike u iskustvima osoba koje pripadaju kulturnoj i vjerskoj većini, nasuprot osoba koje su ovdje doselile i napravile svoj dom. Kombinacijom društvenog i kulturno-umjetničkog rada također se ispituje koncepte jezika i doma u najširem smislu – komunikacije, razumijevanja, povezivanja s drugima, stresa i pritisaka te mogućnosti sudjelovanja u svakodnevnom životu, od egzistencijalnih potreba i korištenja osnovnih socijalnih usluga do uživanja u kulturi te druženju i povezivanju s ljudima.
Izložbom ovog „rada u nastanku“, koji će se u nastavku istraživanja nadopunjavati i proširivati, proces se otvara široj javnosti kako bi se testirali potencijali ovog tipa suradnje te domaćoj javnosti predstavilo ove raznolike perspektive na život u Zagrebu koje proživljavaju osobe koje su se ovdje doselile. Javna će prezentacija oprostoriti i posredovati rezultate radionice koja će se ranije održati s grupom osoba migrantske pozadine, kroz koju će se skupiti i njihove perspektive te iskustva.
Izložba će biti otvorena 26.2. od 18h, s opisom istraživanja, uvodnom riječi i performansom Jana Jafe u 19h. Izložba će biti otvorena i 27.2., također od 18h.
Ulaz je besplatan.

Operation City invites you to join us on February 26th and 27th at the initial exhibition of the intercultural socio-artistic study “Jezik i dom” (eng. "Language and Home") in the space of KONTEJNER | bureau of contemporary art praxis (Odranska 1/1).
Through the study, we jointly examined the established concepts of accessibility and inclusiveness of living spaces in Zagreb, the differences in the experiences of people who belong to the cultural and religious majority, as opposed to people who have moved here and made their home. The study, which is a combination of social and cultural-artistic work, also examines the concepts of language and home in the broadest sense - communication, understanding, connecting with others, stresses and pressures, and the possibilities of participating in everyday life, ranging from existential needs and using basic social services to enjoying culture, socializing and connecting with people.
The exhibition of this “work in progress”, which will be supplemented and expanded as the study continues, opens the process to the wider public in order to test the potential of this type of collaboration, and present to the local public these diverse perspectives on life in Zagreb, experienced by people who have moved here. This event will also present the results of a workshop that will be held earlier with a group of people with migrant backgrounds, through which their perspectives and experiences will also be gathered.
The exhibition will be open on February 26th from 18:00, with a presentation of the research, an introductory speech and a performance by Jan Jafo at 19:00. The exhibition will also be open on February 27th, also from 18:00.
