DJ Kynz specializes in crafting musical journeys that evolve in mood and energy. Sets often begin with warm tones—jazz, lo-fi, and hip-hop—gently easing into downtempo, dub, and chillout textures. As the night unfolds, the tempo and energy rise naturally, moving into deep, groovy house and intelligent breaks. The progression is seamless and intentional—designed to draw listeners in, spark conversation, and let time slip away. Whether you’re swaying, tapping your foot, lost in thought or full on dancing like no one is watching, the groove keeps you anchored in the moment.
DJ Kynz is a veteran of the decks with over 25 years of experience blending deep house, breakbeat, and chill-out into immersive, journey-driven sets. Raised in the D.C./Baltimore rave scene and rooted in vinyl, his sets are less about playlists and more about transporting listeners through sound. As half of the production duo Modus Novum, he crafts cinematic, groove-heavy tracks that fuse atmosphere and emotion—with a slew of releases on labels like Hexagonal, Stazis and Capital Heaven. Whether in the booth or the studio, DJ Kynz delivers timeless vibes with impeccable taste.
