Whether you're a practised Yogi or feel it's too far a 'stretch', these classes are designed to benefit all, and you can try a lesson for free if you don't believe us!A certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with 20+ yrs experience, Kathy’s instructions will help you achieve precision and body alignment.
No matter your age, level of experience, or health goals, as a regular practitioner you can expect to improve your overall well-being, strength, posture, and more.
Two classes to choose from, depending on your level of experience and availability (restricted capacity limits apply).

WHAT: IYENGAR YOGA CLASSES
WHEN:
🧘♂ MONDAYS, 7-8pm (Beginners/General)
🤸♀WEDNESDAYS, 5-6.30pm (General/Intermediates)
FEES:
🧘$75 upfront per 5-wk block ($15 per class)
🧘♂ OR $20 per Session (casual)
You will need to be a CAHRS Member to join regularly ($25 annual fee, with many benefits)

INSTRUCTOR:
Kathy Elwell’s journey with yoga began in 1984, attending a weekly yoga class at Essential Living Skills, then completed a Teacher training course at Sydney Yoga Centre and began teaching at E.L.S. During this time she was introduced to Iyengar yoga, beginning her pursuit of this which lead to undertaking a teacher training course with Pixie Lillas at Balmain Yoga Studio in 2002. After becoming a certified Iyengar teacher, Kathy has had various roles instructing in Iyengar yoga, including currently at WA School Of Yoga in Shenton Park, her own Yoga Naturally, and now at CECS.
ABOUT CAHRS:
This is another event presented by Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society (CAHRS), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enriching the community and our Members.
