Iyengar Yoga intro with Michael Morphis

Michael Morphis is an Iyengar Yoga Instructor with 21 years of Teaching experience. He lived in New York City for 52 years before moving to Zagreb and is looking forward to sharing his teaching experience and insights. He has made multiple trips to India to study with the Iyengar family practiced with Patricia Walden Dharma Mitra and other world renowned teachers and has taught workshops and retreats internationally.

In this 2 ½ workshop we will explore having a greater understanding of the correct form of the most common poses like Downward Dog and the Warrior Poses (plus many more) in order to both make the body strong and flexible while protecting it from injuries. Also because Yoga is a philosophy as well as an exercise Michael will share his insights into why the way we think in our poses is equally if not more important than what we can do with our bodies.
