Welcome to the IWIRC Midwest Complimentary Luncheon & Mentorship CLE Panel! This event is complimentary for all, including non-IWIRC members.

Please join us for an afternoon of substantive discussion and purposeful networking. The event will take place at 801 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309 (just a short walk from the Savery Hotel), after the conclusion of the All Iowa Bankruptcy Conference.

The program begins at 12:15 p.m. with lunch, after which we will convene a distinguished CLE panel on paying it forward through mentorship featuring moderator, Hon. Ret. Anita L. Shodeen (S.D. IA); and panelists, the Hon. Laura Kulm Ask (S.D.), the Hon. Cynthia Norton (W.D. MO), and the Hon. Kathy Surratt-States (E.D. MO.), together with practitioners Leslie Behaunek of Nyemaster Goode in Des Moines, Sam Marks of Marks Law Firm in Des Moines, and Ashley Wieck of Des Moines.

Our panelists will share their insights on mentorship within the restructuring and legal community, exploring the benefits of effective mentor-mentee relationships, establishing mentorship relationships, and the broader impact of mentorship on professional development. This free in-person event offers an excellent opportunity to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and gain practical guidance from leaders in the field.
