IvyKids Saturday: Writing Workshop with Katie MacNichol

Let's write stories with author Katie MacNichol! The author of Be Careful, Little Duck will lead a storytelling workshop for children under 8 on this Saturday morning. Be Careful, Little Duck is a wholesome story where kids are in the lead, teaching their grown-up how to be brave as they go on shared adventures.
With coffee for the parents and the shop open for browsing, we invite you to stick around and make a morning of it. Come get warm and spend a cozy morning together!

The author, Katie MacNichol is a mom of two boys (eight and six), living in northern Harford County. A communications professional by day, when she decided to pick up her pen to start writing for children, Katie took her skills to another level and focused on personal experiences to connect with other moms with young children just like her.
When Katie’s not daydreaming about her Little Duck’s next story, she, her husband, and their two boys can be found adventuring outdoors or traveling to a sunny, sandy place where the water’s always warm.
