Hailing from cosmopolitan London, the music of Karma Sheen merges Hindustani classical, fuzzy 60s rock a la Jimi Hendrix, and Sufi inspired lyricism, deeply rooted in cultural heritage. Spearheaded by Sameer Khan, who is formally trained by a 600-year-old lineage of musicians from modern-day Pakistan, Karma Sheen brings timeless traditions to new realms, captivating audiences along the way. Through embracing the Hindustani format while drinking from retro aesthetics and re-signifying it all with the avant gardism of neo-psychedelia, they create something both recognisable and new. Batsch is the experimental-pop project of Mason Le Long, an artist who has spent the last decade exploring the intersections of synth-pop, disco, and old film soundtracks, to create his unique brand of ‘kitchen-sink-disco'.
