Ivobase System & Introduction to SR Nexco Gum Composite

Synopsis: 

This is a hands-on course in which you will be taken through all the stages involved in processing a complete SR Phonares II denture in the Ivobase Denture injection moulding unit. While we process the dentures you will then have a chance to get hands on with our gum characterisation composite system SR Nexco. The uses will be explained and then you will be shown how to apply this to acrylic to dramatically improve the pink aesthetics of your prosthetic work

Aims:

The aim of this course is to show delegates the complete workflow of processing a denture using the Ivobase injection moulding system from Ivoclar. You will receive a detailed explanation of the materials and equipment involved when completing this technical process. Tutor Claire O’Brien will deliver a practical demonstration as well as hands on covering the correct investing, topping, tooth preparation, processing and subsequent deflasking. In addition, you will be shown how to correctly prepare a demonstration denture piece for the application of SR Nexco gum characterising composite. The tutor will explain their philosophy of applying the colours correctly in order to achieve a lifelike shape, colour and texture on your dentures.The correct polishing procedure will be demonstrated to ensure your restorations maintain their high quality finish
