IVA NOVA AFLYSER DERES TURNÉGrundet situationen i Rusland har Iva Nova været nødt til at aflyse deres tour rundt i Europa. Deres koncert i Musikcaféen den 27. april er derfor desværre aflyst.

"Iva Nova is confident that the language of art and music unites people. We wished more than anything during last two years to come back on the road and be on tour in Europe again, to meet all of our amazing friends and listeners, to warm our hearts together. But besides our will, it was decided differently.
We have no possibility to make a visa, neither to be vaccinated with EU approved vaccine. And we feel more and more isolated from the outside world and depressed with the situation in our own country, as many other Russian artists. Now we can only beg for peace and the chance to rebuild our lives, personal and professional. Let’s keep hoping and trying to meet this summer.

IVA NOVA CANCELLED
Due to the current situation in Russia Iva Nova has cancelled their European tour and will sadly not be able to visit Musikcaféen on April 27th.

Bandet IVA NOVA består af fire kvinder, som er inspireret af slavisk folkemusik, hvortil gruppens egne rå og vilde toner tilføjes. Man skal ikke forvente sig traditionel russisk folk fra IVA NOVA. Bandet bevæger sig snarere ind i et rocket univers, hvor udtrykket bliver legende, feminint og stolt. Deres sange indeholder tekster på både ukrainsk, bulgarsk og georgisk.
IVA NOVA blev dannet i 2002 i St. Petersborg, og rejste i 2004, efter udgivelsen af deres første plade, til den vestlige del af Europa for at give koncerter. Bandet har siden da turnéret Europa tynd, for at spille på utallige klubber og festivaler.

The four ladies of IVA NOVA are inspired by Slavic folk music, but they give their music also a very personal touch. A rather wild touch, we might add. Don't expect traditional Russian folk, these ladies rock a little too hard for that. Their sonic expression is girlish and playful, yet feminine and proud. And if the accordion player picks up her accordion, she makes you dream of the Russian soul. But when one of the singers picks up her electric guitar, she brings you right back to the big cityand its exciting urban feeling.
The band was formed in 2002 in St. Petersburg, and traveled to Western Europe for the first time in 2004, after the release of their debut album. Ever since, they've been touring extensively, playing in numerous clubs and festivals in many countries. Besides lyrics in Russian IVA NOVA have songs in Ukrainian, Bulgarian or Georgian language. Along with exploiting endless folklore resources they creatively experiment with many other styles. The amazing live show of IVA NOVA is a colourful mix of lyrical songs and energetic punk dances – that’s pure musical anarchy!
