The Iowa City Community Theater will grace the Forum Theater stage with their performance of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” is a stage adaptation of the beloved 1946 Frank Capra film, reimagined as a 1940s-style live radio broadcast. The play is set inside a 1940s radio studio, where a group of actors gathers to perform It’s a Wonderful Life live on the air. The audience in the theater becomes the “studio audience,” watching the actors voice multiple characters, create sound effects, and read commercials—all in real time.
