It's Brunch, Baby! - Drag Brunch @ The GPO Bar

It's time to get EGGcited because It's Brunch, Baby! On Saturday, February 11th some of Vancouver's most talented Drag Artists will be joining us once again at The GPO for a very special brunch party!

Your host Rogue will be joined by local Drag Superstars Karmella Barr, Levi Thrust, and Maiden China!

Tickets are $40 pp + taxes & ticket fees and include entertainment, a Phillips Brewing Beermosa/Sparkmouth Mimosa Mocktail, 1 brunch item, and gratuity. Single seats, as well as tables of 2 - 8, are available. Doors open at 11:30 am, with entertainment running from 12 pm - 2:30 pm.

Rogue is Vancouver’s premier Jewish Non-Binary Drag Artist and Event Producer. A self-proclaimed "Instagram Sensation" from the beginning and over time has become an internationally known social media influencer. After winning Entertainer of the Year 2019 and growing to become one of the most top-booked drag performers in the city, they founded the newly formed drag supergroup ENBY 6. A superstar host and a dynamic performer, when Rogue hits the stage you never know what you're going to get, but you know they'll give you a show.

Karmella Barr Is Vancouver’s very own sweet chocolate treat. Karmella has had an interest in theatre and entertainment starting at a very young age. This love for entertainment and theatre has led Karmella to the wonderful world of drag! Karmella has been doing drag in Vancouver for 8 years and counting. In their shows, they are seen as an incredibly personable queen known for the amazing balance of emotion and glamour that they bring to their performances. This amazing balance earned them the title of “Miss Congeniality” in 2016 and then eventually Miss Cobalt 6 in 2017. They are now currently an Imperial Crown Princex for the 50th reign of the Dogwood Monarchist Society.

Out from the shadow of his cousin, local burlesque favourite: Lilac Lust, this King of Colour has been showing up and showing out on stages in "Vancouver" since 2017 and breaking hearts since '93. He is a living R&B dream with smooth moves and a velvet voice, he is a member of the Diasporic Dynasty and a child in the House of Bukuru, he is Levi Thrust.

Maiden China is an intersectional feminist, trans femme performer whose drag is equal parts conceptual performance art, queer critical theory, and troll meme clown foolery. She is a member of the darlings, an experimental drag performance collective that has been awarded laurels from the Edinburgh fringe festival, as well as a member of the house of Rice, an all-Asian drag family here in so-called “Vancouver”.
