LeGacy Presents is proud to present once It's A Wonderful Life...the Radio Play! ....this December at the Nevada Theatre. Sands Hall and Sara Noah direct and invite you to rediscover the timeless magic of Frank Capra's holiday classic in an inventive format, a high spirited 1940's radio broadcast complete with live sound effects, an original score by Sky Seals, and a whirlwind of character voices.This enchanting production transports theatergoers to the fictional WFBR radio station in Bedford Falls on a snowy Christmas Eve. Idealistic George Bailey (John Gardner) grapples with despair, a live studio audience-including you-witness the unfolding tale of hope, redemption, and the profound ripple effects of kindness.
The dynamic ensemble cast also includes Robert Rossman, Bruce Barnard, Sara Noah, Sarah Mugridge, with Foley artists Jerry Peters and Del Dozier adding additional characters along with the sound effects. Janet Rossman and Beverly Marks share piano duties, playing the terrific original score.
Adding to the magic is Les Solomon's unique light design, Paulette Gilbert's creative and vintage costumes, and Hunter Reed's innovative sound design.
It's A Wonderful Life...the Radio Play...plays every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm from December 5th through December 27th...with three Sunday matinees at 2pm, (12/7,12/14,12/21), ONE Thursday (12/18 at 7pm) with a special Christmas Eve matinee at 2pm.
