Short Version: A WCS social dance where you influence the future music for our area.
Long Version: A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... the music at a WCS dance varied by location. Regional communities had a flavor to the music they danced, and those dancers influenced their DJs.
This dance is an experiment to bring back the influence of the dancers on what a DJ puts in their sets. We want to create a new "NC Sound" for dances.
This dance event will have opportunities for you, the dancer, to give feedback on a wide variety of music throughout the dance. We want a dozen dancers who will be the "primary critics" and keep a scoresheet for the whole dance. In addition, the dance includes a couple of methods for every dancer there to vote on the music they like.
Additionally, if you want to make music requests in advance, you can do so by PM'ing those to David prior to Feb. 15th.
