On the final night of the year, the world’s masked sonic collective itchy-O will throw a proper SATURNALIA, a rare New Year’s Eve rite of ecstatic reversal and renewal, at Denver’s newly reborn Federal Theatre.Joined by, Alternative Tentacles, label-mates ~ Wheelchair Sports Camp and NYC’s The Dream Eaters, itchy-O is set to transform the ancient Roman festival of Saturn into a modern ritual for the subcultured, the seekers of the obscure, and anyone ready to reject the ordinary New Year’s jag.
In the old world, Saturnalia was a festival of inversion, when the social order was undone, hierarchies dissolved, and chaos reigned before the return of light.
In itchy-O’s world, it becomes a night where rhythm topples reason, and the boundaries between performer and witness melt into a shared delirium of sound, spirit, and release.
This is not a concert.
This is a ceremonial convulsion.

Fresh from Hallowmass 2025, itchy-O brings their 50-member percussive ensemble, dancers, and electronic mystics to awaken the new Federal Theatre in a celebration of noise, chaos, and rebirth. Expect ritual drumming, analog incantations, masked mayhem, and the kind of communal eruption that only itchy-O can summon.
