Join us for an engaging panel discussion titled Italiana/mente: An Original Approach to Innovation. This public program will be presented in conjunction with the exhibition Creative Minds: Italian American Inventors and Innovators, and will explore how creativity, originality, and ingenuity have driven Italian and Italian American innovation throughout history.

Creattive Minds: Italian American Inventors and Innovators

From the Jacuzzi and the telephone to the nuclear reactor and the Big Mac, Italian American inventors and innovators have impacted our lives in ways great and small. Creative Minds examines the achievements and personal stories of Italian American inventors and vanguards, both immigrant and native born, demonstrating that United States innovation has long reflected the diversity of its people. Featuring a range of objects, rare documents and images, and spanning technology, science, cuisine, education, and medicine, Creative Minds emphasizes the stories of the people who dared to think differently and took risks, all in the pursuit of something new.
