The Italian Language Classes are Free to members; Non-Member fee is $100 per person for the series. Classes run from April -October.Beginning Italian: 10am-11am
Lyn Errico, instructor, has taught this course for several years at NIAF. The focus is to achieve proficiency with basic words and grammar to communicate in Italian surroundings. Classes will be held on Mondays at 10 am and will last about 1 hour.
Intermediate Italian: 11-11:30
Italian Native Federico Buonafede conducts our Intermediate Italian classes with enthusiasm and knowledge exactly as he had been taught in Italy. Basic Italian grammar will be necessary. Students will learn pronunciation, phrases and other nuances of the languages. Classes will be held Mondays at 1 pm, and the class will last about 2 hours.
Conversational Italian: 11:30-12:30
Carla Menza, instructor, is a native Italian fluent in both English and Italian and has taught our series for several years. The class assumes you have a fair Italian vocabulary, and practices using your words in everyday conversation. (The class is conducted entirely in Italian). Students will learn additional words and phrases. Classes will be held on MONDAYS at 11:30 am and will last about 1 hour. The series begins October 2, 2023, and concludes April 29, 2023.
