Italian HIT Week: The Kolors

A musical tradition that builds on the glam and theatrics of opera and big Eurovision energy – Italian HIT Week is a unique platform that introduces fresh music from Italy to US audiences. This 2024 edition features the US debut of pop stars The Kolors, and 4 national contest winners.

The 2024 edition of the annual showcase of fresh sounds from Italy features the US debut of pop band The Kolors, and short sets by artists chosen from a national contest by Italian music platform Rockol.

The Kolors are a synth-pop trio originally from Naples, now based in Milan. Among their many hits is their 2023 tune 'Italodisco,' which was a #1 song in Italy and several other European charts. The band participated in the prestigious 2024 San Remo festival, which leads Italy into Eurovision season.

This series reminds us that Italy is always a good idea. Since launching in 2011, HIT Week has introduced US audiences to a who’s who in Italian music of various genres - pop, jazz, folk. HIT Week is produced each year in Miami since 2010 by Rhythm Foundation and Mela Inc, with support from the Italian Trade Commission and in partnership with the Consulate General of Italy in Miami and FIU Italian Club.
