Hippie and Frenchie:
Hippie and Frenchie is an improv duo from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, comprised of Rachel Stern and Alain Epp Weaver. Inspired by a suggestion of an unusual place, they discover comedy in the hopes, passions, foibles, and flaws of people (or spirits, or monsters, or animals, or objects) not unlike ourselves.

Hannah and Kyle Try Their Best!:
Two friends who studied journalism learn that the fast-paced world of reporting wasn't what it was cracked up to be. So come watch as they figure out what's next and try their best at whatever life, and the audience, throws at them!

What is an improv show, exactly?

Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!

A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!

The Highwire Center is Highwire Improv's home base in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore! Part of Highlandtown Main Street and the Highlandtown Arts District, The Highwire Center is home to classes, free workshops, shows, community events, corporate training, and more! The Highwire Center is accessible, with ramp access available, an ADA restroom, and flat transit throughout the space.
