If you are passionate about your local community and want to make it more dementia-friendly then this session is for you.

During this session, you will:

• hear from individuals and groups that are already helping to make Canberra more dementia- friendly, including Dementia Advocates.
• understand common myths and stereotypes and discuss the many ways people can live well with dementia everyday.
• learn what a dementia-friendly community is and how it benefits the whole community.
• explore practical examples and identify a process for 'getting started' as an individual or as a community, to enable Canberra to work towards becoming a Dementia-Friendly City.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is ideal if you can bring your ticket. However, if you have completed your registration we will have your details and forgetting your ticket won’t be a problem.
