This course is for intermediate IT users where we will explore Word, Excel and Powerpoint including learning how to make posters in Word, understanding Excel features and how to create a presentation in Powerpoint.Learning outcomes include:
Explore Word features including page layout, margins, copy & paste, insert pictures
Use Word to create a useful document e.g. poster, menu
Explore Excel features including cells, data, formula, functions and graphs
Use Excel to create a useful spreadsheet e.g. household budget
Use PowerPoint to create a presentation that includes text and pictures
Use the Internet to find, evaluate and share information
Identify strategies to stay safe online
The course will run – Every Thursday from 19th September – 24th October 2024
This course is open to learners aged 19 years plus (in August ’24) with few or no qualifications
