Join us for a 3-hour figure drawing session as part of It Figures: Drawing Club, a weekly figure drawing series hosted by Maggie Tseng and Flip Sarta. Each session features a different theme and a mix of short and long poses. Bring your favorite materials and enjoy a welcoming, low-pressure space for artists of all levels.

For this week’s theme, Winter Fables, models will be posed in costumed, narrative-based scenes inspired by folklore, fables, and wintry mythic archetypes — think Kay Nielsen illustrations, late-1950s Russian animations, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Expect expressive costuming, light narrative staging, and a mix of dynamic and sustained poses.
