WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT HUNGARY WHEN IT COMES TO A SPIRITUAL, SEXUAL, SHAMANIC EXPERIENCE…
SHAMANISM
The “Táltos” shamanism was the root of the Hungarian nation and identity and gave a strong foundation. When Christianity appeared, it was removed completely and a sense of “de-rooting” appeared. Its energy is still felt in the land though.
The Táltos Shaman was able to do special meditation or spiritual trance called "révülés". In this state, the shaman could heal wounds and sickness or learn hidden truths by "sending their soul among the stars". The táltos shaman was chosen by gods or spirits for a specific calling in life and had the duty to communicate with the entire Hungarian nation in a time of danger, to warn against invading armies or an impending cultural collapse.
Táltos is a healer, a teacher and maintains national consciousness.
The Táltos kept the teachings of Jesus. After he became enlightened, they continued to practice what they had learned from Him. They baptized people with fire according to His teachings. Hungarians were carefully keeping or at times hiding the táltos, as they were a treasure.
We’d love us to tap into these treasures as we re-awaken the shamanic aspect of ISTA on this beautiful land.
In táltos tradition Love means SZERELEM meant “Szer - Elem” where “Szer” means relating, connecting and “Elem” means element and it was considered the fifth element, which is love. The celebration of the union of two opposite poles. Yin and Yang. Union and the potential of birth. The fifth element contains oneness, the opposites becoming one.
SPIRITUALITY
As we all know our planet is being crossed with special energy lines and these energy lines are much felt in Hungary. Hungary has very special spiritual energies, with sites that are great for deeper connecting to the Whole as well as sites that are amazing for deep integration. So as much as we are going to feel these energetics on the land of our venue, We encourage you also to spend some time in some of these special places of the country to recharge and land after the training.
One of these amazing places is Dobogó-kő, which is about two hrs drive from our venue. It’s claimed to be the heart chakra of the Earth. Lots of people visit to rejuvenate, recharge, relax, and connect to the heart of Mother Earth and their own hearts.
SEXUALITY
There are still some taboos around sexuality in Hungary. Like in much of the world, there is still shame, hiding, guilt and fear around this topic. Still, there are people who are not free in their bodies.
This is where ISTA and (and you!) come into the picture.
We're excited for sexuality to be awakened in this land with a vibration of wholeness, healing and awareness. It’s yet another point on this earth to bring more expression, light, and freedom.
Which takes us to our beautiful venue — the place that holds us as we go on this spiritual sexual shamanic journey.
THE VENUE
In the middle of Europe, yet at the end of the world.
In the heart of a 7.5-hectare English park, surrounded by forests, lakes and streams, and ancient tree giants, there is a two-story classicist, elegant castle. Those who visit here can admire the old chapel and enjoy the comfort of guest houses and wellness facilities that meet the needs of our time. Those who want to change, gather here to get new inspiration, as well as artists who want to create quietly, or those searching for the village and traditions of the Celts who lived in This Place for thousands of years.
This is the space of change, but this change does not destroy the old, but preserves the values and adds to them. Center, in the most abstract and at the same time most literal sense of the word, as it always has been. It also gives the visitor the opportunity for a short time to take part in the ranks of the people who live here and the "owners" of the Place, in quotation marks, because we don't actually own such a Place, but live it, receive, give, take part in it and from it.
