Experience a dynamic evening of women in song featuring Mississauga’s legendary entertainer Patti Jannetta alongside vocalists Heather Christine, Elena Kapeleris and Carla Gonzalez-Casanova. Dance in your seats and sing to the music at this interactive night of connection and community. A dazzling singer-composer, actor and creator, Patti has made her mark on Canada’s musical landscape. Her artistic journey began as a teen actress in the LA/Vegas production of Jesus Christ Superstar across the hall from Elvis and Gladys Knight. A gifted entertainer, Patti has toured with music icons Ronnie Hawkins and Bo Diddley. In 2020, she was the recipient of a granite star on the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame. In 2023 Patti was inducted into Mississauga’s Legends Row, Walk of Fame.
Live music lovers will revel to the sounds of Jazz, Latin and Soul as Heather Christine, Elena Kapeleris and Gonzalez-Casanova grace the stage. Active performers of their generation, the ladies can be seen throughout the years performing as featured soloists at performing arts centres and festivals across the GTA.
Powerhouse Canadian Pianist and Producer Bill King will round out the evening as Musical Director paying tribute to his mentor, Oscar Peterson. A musical master in his own rite, Bill K*ll has directed for such luminaries including Janis Joplin, Linda Ronstadt, Martha Reeves, The Pointer Sisters, and more.
Backed by all-star band of celebrated Canadian Jazz musicians including Mark Kelso and Pat Collins, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
